Conditions We Treat

Neck Pain

Many of us suffer from neck pain without knowing the exact cause of it. Pain in the neck can be due to injury, a mechanical or muscular problem, a trapped nerve caused by a bulge in one of the discs between the vertebrae, or from arthritis of the neck. It may also caused by wrong position while sleeping or you twisted it wrong while performing high-intensity aerobic classes. Most people will experience neck pain at some point in their life but we won't feel it in the same way. Sometimes, you feel pain on one side of your neck, sometimes, pain shoots down your arms. It may even cause a terrible headaches or dizziness. This is a very common condition and more frequently seen in women than men. It can range from mild discomfort to severe, burning pain. If the pain is 'acute' - sudden and intense - it is called a crick in the neck, facet syndrome or muscular rheumatism. If the pain has lasted more than three months, it is termed 'chronic' neck pain.
