What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a therapeutic specialty of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) used to treat illness, prevent disease, and improve well-being. Acupuncture uses sterile, ultra-thin filaments to stimulate trigger points throughout the body.
Is Acupuncture Painful?
Many of our acupuncture patients are surprised to discover that acupuncture involves little or no pain! Some patients even describe their treatment as relaxing.
Unlike needles used to give pharmaceutical injections, the ultra-thin filaments used in acupuncture are extremely fine... about twice the width of a single hair. Acupuncture filaments are not like traditional needles... and our acupuncturists specialize in using "no needle acupuncture."
At ACN Wellness, we offer a full range of health & wellness services in addition to acupuncture services including herbal formula, yoga & QiGong, massage therapy, nutrition guidance and mind-body counseling.
Acupuncture can be effective as a primary treatment therapy or as part of an integrated approach. Our clinical practitioners are licensed acupuncturists and have extensive knowledge and training in the use of acupuncture as a primary treatment therapy or as part of a comprehensive integrated treatment plan.

Insurance and Fee
Many insurance policies cover acupuncture. Upon your request I will supply you with a Superbill. A Superbill is a receipt that shows what services you received along with their special insurance specific codes. You may submit it directly to your insurance company to seek reimbursement for payments you made. Please note that full payment is due at time of service and we cannot guarantee reimbursement. Please call your insurance company to ask if acupuncture is covered under your policy and check to make sure that Superbills are accepted.
In order to avoid a late cancellation charge of 25%, please give 24 hours notice of cancellation.
